We are looking for a highly motivated finance and operations intern who is an independent, flexible, and innovative leader. This person should pay strong attention to detail and be focused on innovative methods of growth. We are in the process of scaling our organization, thus we are looking for an intern who can help manage the operational elements associated with growth.
Because the Water Emissaries team is small, interns have the opportunity to work intersectionally with all team members and on various projects. The job title is the frame of reference for your work. Tasks associated with the finance and operations internship include:
Working with the core team to develop a fundraising strategy
Identifying and writing grant applications
Assisting with the management of internal tracking systems and calendars
Identifying growth potential and KPIs
Assisting in creating/managing pitch decks
Communicating to different channels of people interested in the program (including students, mentors, and business professionals)
Skill Requisites:
Proficient in Google Suite
Passion for environmentalism and water equity
Preferred Business/Economics Major
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience managing budgets/fundraising
Strong attention to detail
Ability to collaborate and strategize with team members
